:: White water course > Vienne

For several years now, the Association charged with the development of the Vienne Moyenne River has set itself the goal to make the necessary modifications for the practice of canoeing and kayaking on this river. A lot of passes have been integrated into this project so that waterway paddling is possible all along the course without interruption. Passes have been built at the following places: at Smurfit, Val d'Enraud, Moulins de Seilles, la Gady, la Mie and Pelgros. On the other hand, by-pass rivers have been built or will soon be built such as Saint-Victurnien, Champs, Caillaud, Romanet, etc. Moreover, thresholds will be created to ensure the security of those who practice of white water activities and to promote the practice of free style canoeing and kayaking. Finally, to complete the project points to embark or disembark will be created.
