After the success of the Sydney white water stadium (Olympic Games 2000), Electricité De France (EDF) has created the company HYDROSTADIUM, a specific subsidiary (100% EDF) dealing with white water course engineering.

Since the 1st August 2001, the staff that was in charge of this activity within EDF has been transferred to HYDROSTADIUM. HYDROSTADIUM has an extensive national and international experience in the design and engineering of white water stadiums. The principle references of HYDROSTADIUM in white water stadiums are :

Sydney(OG 2000), Athènes(OG 2004) and Beijing(OG 2008).
