The Nottingham white water course has been built more than 20 years ago. The BCU wishes to optimize the course by a better distribution of the difference in level and the installation of mobile obstacles. The first part of the river has been modified in the beginning of 2007, which gives an idea of the feasible improvements for the rest of the white water course.
