White water courses
It’s a matter of optimize the hydraulic profile of an existing river in order to practise white water sports.
The river project development can consist in:
- Moving existing rocks in the river and add rocks in order to create water movements interesting for white water sports
- Re-grade the river bed in order to distibute the slope or to concentrate water
- Creation of a movement against the current with the moving of the rock A near the bank
- Concentration of the water in the center of the river by reinforcing of the bank with the rocks B and C
- Separation of the principal water vein by reinforcing of the rock D
