Hydrostadium’s expertise presented at the University of Tokyo.
On June 12, Hydrostadium took part in the Mieux Vivre en Ville (MMV) 2024 symposium, broadcast live from the University of Tokyo. A joint presentation with Michel HEINRICH, President of the Epinal urban community, on the theme: “In the middle of Epinal, a river flows... whitewater.”
Inaugurated by Philippe SETTON, Ambassador of France to Japan, and Mr Takumi MORIYAMA, Vice President of the University of Tokyo, MVV 2024 presented 28 initiatives for the cities of the future: Mieux Vivre en Ville Smart & Sexy.
This 2024 edition gave a voice to those witnessing and contributing to “Better Living in Cities” on a daily basis, in France and Japan, drawing on original experiences in both countries and beyond. These highly diverse experiences highlighted an innovative and inspiring aspect of sustainable city projects, mobilizing often original and unprecedented expertise, as well as a strong degree of collective intelligence.
Based on these cross perspectives from “France-Japan,” the objective is to explore avenues and complementarities for imagining new “harmonies” serving the cities of tomorrow (spaces to bring to life, where and how to travel more effectively or come together more easily, and more generally, how to evolve our shared living spaces).
MVV 2024 is an initiative of CCE-Japan, co-organized with the University of Tokyo, with the support of the Embassy of France in Japan.
