In Réunion, Hydrostadium supports the supervision of isolated microgrids!
In the Mafate cirque, a unique and difficult-to-access area, EDF Réunion operates photovoltaic installations that are essential to supplying electricity to local residents. Hydrostadium is deploying the Timize project, a solution for the remote supervision and control of individual microgrids and photovoltaic power plants.
✔️ Installation of supervisory systems on two microgrids supplied by photovoltaic power plants + battery
✔️ Implementation of a hypervision system on the coast, at EDF Réunion’s premises
✔️ Real-time monitoring of installations already deployed in the most isolated dwellings
This project is based on demanding field operations and fully autonomous activities.
It now enables:
➡️ improved visibility of the asset base
➡️ effective incident detection
➡️ optimised operation
The client is gradually adopting the tool and is already highlighting its benefits.
Ultimately, the system will cover all 7 of Mafate’s microgrids, as well as around one hundred individual photovoltaic power plants
Named “Timize” in Creole, the Bourbon black petrel is an endemic and emblematic bird of Réunion. This name symbolises the flow of data between the isolated areas of Mafate and the operating centres located on the coast
