Omniflots® III Certification in Nancy
On 7 March, tests of the new fastening system for the movable obstacles proposed for equipping whitewater rivers took place in Nancy. Certification by the FIC (International Canoe Federation) is an important step in the development of this latest version of the Omniflots obstacles®. The expert representing the client (MOA) issued his report, part of whose conclusions is provided below: “The initial observations of the Omniflots system® were made in a dry riverbed and concerned safety (sharp angles, gaps, equipment and connection strength, etc.). The tests also included resistance tests with a loaded raft colliding with a central obstacle. This was successfully completed.”
