The Hautefage dam is generating power!
A look back at an impressive project: the installation of a new hydropower plant to turbine the reserved flow at the Hautefage dam.
Hydrostadium managed the installation and commissioning of all the technical packages, including the water intake, penstock, all valves, the control system for the generating unit and, finally, the heart of the plant: the vertical Francis turbine coupled to a synchronous alternator.
Commissioned this summer, the new turbine meets the electricity needs of a town of 3,000 inhabitants!
