The hydraulic platform HYDROMAQ operated by Hydrostadium offers a high degree of flexibility in terms of layout, supply mode, flow rate, pressure and measurement techniques. The modularity of our hydraulic platform ensures greater fidelity between the hydraulic physical model and reality.
Whether supplied under pressure or with a free surface, or operating in an open circuit or a closed loop, the hydraulic platform can be adapted to the various hydraulic conditions required for different types of scale models.
The nominal flow capacity can reach 130 l/s, through 6 pumps ensuring precise regulation of the supply flows to the hydraulic physical models. A higher supply flow can be implemented if required.
The available measurement and recording tools enable monitoring of the characteristic parameters of the models, while remaining scalable according to the requirements and specific features of each model.
The hydraulic platform has a main section 2.50 metres wide and 7 metres long, which can be extended as required. The scales applied to date range from 1:1 to 1:100.
The construction of reduced-scale models also varies according to the sites and structures: from simple geometries to complex natural topography, conventional methods and materials can be supplemented or replaced by custom-made composite material components or even by 3D printing, offering a high degree of precision.
The process of producing hydraulic reduced-scale models makes it possible to benefit from the digital tools available in-house (HEC-RAS, FLUENT,...) and from the support of specialist engineers in the field who make up Hydrostadium’s technical team.
The manoeuvrability of the hydraulic platform and the human scale of the hydraulic reduced-scale models produced by Hydrostadium are major assets in modelling the hydraulic phenomena under consideration, identifying solutions, and developing new products and concepts.
