In 2019, HYDROSTADIUM signed a contract for the full project management of a small hydropower plant development project, including commissioning of the facility.

Main technical features

A semi-buried intake (PE) located at an altitude of 1,100 m, comprising a Tyrolean screen inclined at 30°, a U-shaped sand trap, a BMC and a head gate valve chamber (VDT); 2,300 m of fully buried penstock (CF) with a diameter of 400 mm; a hydropower plant equipped with a two-jet PELTON turbine; 1 MW power unit.

Specific constraints

The specific feature is the integration of the facility into the landscape, with the PE and CF buried. The plant blends perfectly into its mountain environment.
