Main technical features

The Mancioux facility, located 60 kilometres from Toulouse, turbines water from the Garonne. It is one of the five power stations operated by the Palaminy Plant Group, which belongs to the Garonne Hydraulic Operations Group.

Specific constraints

Installation of a water intake on karst terrain, with retaining structures adapted in real time and groundwater to be lowered; steep slope (confined space) between the departmental road and the Garonne, making construction difficult.
